For neutralizing weed seeds, we recommend to leave the material in the bin for an extra week.  So instead of the usual 2 week ferment in the bin, go for 3 weeks.  You can also leave it for longer than 3 weeks if you wish.  Longer time in the bin will ensure a more complete ferment, and a better chance to neutralize any seeds.
