Roach eggs in bokashi

Adina asked 1 year ago

I found roach eggs in some of my plants soil and, before I knew what they were, I added them with the soil to the container where I put the mixed soil and fermented scraps (the container is then sealed and put aside until the compost is ready). My question is: will those eggs hatch in my bokashi mix? Should I just throw the whole thing away or wait it out?

Its most likely that some or all of these eggs will hatch. Once the bokashi food waste is fermented and taken outside of the bokashi bin, it becomes a food source for soil ecology. There is nothing in it that will destroy eggs or seeds by that point.
