Hi! My name is Ethan and i’m doing a highschool science experiment attempting to compare bokashi compost to traditional compost and I was wondering what species of bacteria or yeast are used for the bokashi bran so that I could include it in my slides, thanks!

Our premium bokashi bran is a proprietary product, so we don’t release all of the specifics on its makeup, however we can tell you that our premium bokashi bran contains 14 major probiotic garden bacteria species,  including enhanced levels of the amazing purple non sulfur phototropic bacteria (PNSB) and 65 trace minerals, producing bokashi bran that is superior for soil regeneration and plant root development.  The PNSB is by far the dominant bacteria species.  The result is plants that are healthy and more resistant to pests and disease.  The combined effort of this diverse group of bacterias results in an amazing bacteria group that can metabolize toxins, effectively removing them from your garden.
