The color and shape of your food waste does not visibly change in your bokashi bucket, but the chemical structure has been altered throughout the fermentation process. Do not expect to see a typical soil or compost product after your bokashi bucket has completed its 2 week fermentation period. When the bokashi pre-compost is added into the soil your soil biota (earthworms etc) will quickly assimilate it into soil.
