I have been filling my bokashi bucket for a week and a half–it\’s about 3/4 full. If I shake the bucket I can hear liquid at the bottom, but nothing comes out of the drain. I\’m afraid a clump of food could have gotten in the bottom after the last time I emptied the pre-compost… and now the drain is blocked. What should I do?

Press DOWN on the lid of the bin. If you hear air escaping, then the spigot is not blocked. If the spigot is blocked, try pressing harder and see if this fixes it. If not, you’ll have to wait till you empty the bin to see what is blocking it.
