Hi, I bought some rice husk and wheat bran to be used for Bokashi inoculation. Separately, I have activated a batch of EM-1 with molasses. My concern is: the rice husk and wheat bran contains some bugs and living creatures in it. I am not sure how to clean or sterilize it before wetting it with the activated EM-1.Do you have any tips or advice for this step in particular?Thank you in advance!

Its safer to start with grains that have no bugs in them. We don’t have suggestions for how to remove the bugs that you have. You can try using what you have, but there is no guarantee that the bugs will not survive the fermentation process of manufacturing your bokashi bran.
