No tea yet

Lu Yao Chiarelli asked 10 months ago

I started to do the bokashi 2 weeks ago, and I have been adding more scraps after 5 days. It is now half full. I tried to keep it sealed, as per I understand it should be a anaerobic process. It only generated some drops of tea… Is this normal?
Can I add until it is full and wait 2 weeks or more?

Sometimes the tea will come quickly, and other times very slowly if at all.  It depends on what foods are in the bin, and the environment that the bin sits in.  You can start the 2 week ferment period at any time you like, the bin does not have to be full to do that.
