Is bokashi composting suitable for use in schools?

Absolutely!

Getting children involved in composting, we believe, is a fantastic thing. We’ve seen that bokashi composting is great for children, because the whole process is so fast. From food in your hand, to usable compost in the garden, the process usually takes only four weeks – enough time for children to appreciate results. And there is no more sorting or separating with the food waste, as it all can go into the bokashi bin.
