how to keep the soil in a good condition

Hi, I have been making soil using the bokashi composting, and it has been great!!  After I mix bokashi compost with soil and wait for a few weeks, it will be done, but I do not need to use it right away.  Is it OK to keep the finished soil in a plastic bag and seal it or would it kill all the good microbe? My question is if it is better to have some opening so oxygen can get in the soil or is it better to seal it? (I may not need it for a few month.)

Hi Kaori,
Thanks for your question and great to hear that bokashi composting has been working well for you. We would recommend storing your finished soil in an open container, ideally with drainage holes too. Soil life thrive in an aerobic environment and the finished soil should be allowed to breath.
Happy composting 🙂
