Going on vacation

I’m going on vacation for a week in 12 days and my bin is 3/4 full. My concern is any tea which will go undrained. Should I stop adding to the bin now?

You do not need to stop adding to the bin. Leaving the bin to sit untouched for a week can be safely done at any time, and will not negatively affect the tea in the bin.
