I’m sure I read somewhere when I was researching prior to purchasing my bokashi bins that the tea can be used as a natural insecticide but cannot find the reference to it now. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of this?

Thanks for the question. We have not heard of bokashi tea being used as an insecticide before. However, the tea is naturally very acidic and therefore it could be used in place of vinegar for controlling certain pests, such as slugs and snails.
