Hello,    I\’ve just received my Bokashi bin starter kit and am about to start composting. I make kombucha at home and one of the byproducts of the process is a new SCOBY that forms on top of the fermenting tea with each batch. Generally, I save one SCOBY for the new batch of tea and will try and find someone else to take the other but sometimes I do have to compost them. Are they okay to add to the bokashi bucket?

Yes you can add this to your bokashi bin.  We suggest that you cut it up before putting it into the bin, and try to make it so that it is spread out in the bin (rather than sitting all together in a tight clump).  This will help the  bokashi microbes inoculate it properly.
