the fermentation process in the bokashi bucket was successful. I buried it using a trench method in my raised bed. Covered about 4\” soil on top. In 2 weeks I discovered that there are a lot of maggots (Black soldier fly larvae) there. No earthworms. How can I get rid of them. They are so disgusting. I want earthworms.

The black soldier fly maggots are actually beneficial for the composting process and will help to break down the pre-compost. The maggots will disappear with time (when they have exhausted their food supply). Earthworm populations will take a while to increase (it takes 2-3 months for hatchling worms to reach maturity). In the meantime, the maggots won’t do any harm to the earthworms.
